Escrow Terms

Aston Africa uses a milestone-based, escrow-style payment structure to protect buyers and give sellers confidence that funds are secured.

How Funds Are Held

Deposits and balance payments are held until the associated order milestone is confirmed — such as seller confirmation, export documentation, or shipment departure — rather than released to the seller upfront in full.

Payment Statuses

Orders move through statuses including Pending, Deposit Required, Deposit Paid, Escrow Funded, Payment Under Review, Balance Due, Paid in Full, Refunded, and Disputed. Current status is always visible in your Payment Center.

Release of Funds

Funds are released to the seller as milestones are confirmed. If a dispute is raised before release, funds remain held pending resolution.
